Despite being one of the smallest teams at Luminous, you’ll see us working with almost everyone, so it’s essential that we encourage the sharing of knowledge, insights and expertise. It’s our job to drive a sense of excitement around pitching and to make it enjoyable for all so we get our best results. We recognise that this work occurs alongside existing client jobs so we ensure that we are highly empathetic and respectful of other departments’ time and resources.

Externally, we must perform our values up front so clients know what to expect when they sign up to working with Luminous. We must build strong and respectful relationships with them. We stay on top of important prospects but also understand that there are different stages of the buyer journey. Our confidence allows us to be bold with new ideas and we learn what works from our analytics, using them to make more content that resonates with our audience. We aspire to find exciting clients that truly identify with what we do, and always provide them with value for their time, ask the right questions to feed back to the team and maintain a positive energy in all interactions.

  • Carefully identify, research and qualify prospects which align with our agency offer and experience.

  • Prepare for calls and meetings and provide the prospect with some value for their time, ask the right questions to feed back to the team.

  • Make informed campaign decisions based on past analytics/successes.

  • Extend/share our knowledge through co-operation across other disciplines inside the agency, tapping more effectively into agency resources and wisdom.

  • Follow agreed processes and systems so everyone is clear on expectations.

  • Be a great communicator and instil confidence in the team, keep all members of the team informed of progress and developments and encourage that from others.
