Our key ambition is to build confidence across all levels of the team in order to encourage greater idea sharing and creative exploration.

We must stay mindful of the multi levels within our team and allow room to practise and present to others. Together, we will develop through collective goal setting and making the most of past learning, both our successes and where things went wrong. When working cross-company, we will naturally lead the creative conversations and we will take the time to articulate the rationale behind our design decisions. We strive to push ourselves and our ideas for the client while making sure the brief requirements are at the forefront of what we do. Our upcoming Design Manifesto will drive common understanding and solidify our agreed processes and systems.

  • Be thorough in preparation and research before embarking on work and have an informed design opinion.

  • Own and drive the design process and lead creative conversations.

  • Create a schedule that gives time to deliver excellence, interface with Client Services team.

  • Set collective goals and positive dynamic on all projects.

  • Follow agreed processes and systems so everyone is clear on expectations.

  • Take time to articulate the creative rationale behind design decisions, practise presentations or bring other members on board with concepts.

  • Be organised in the way we work and think ahead on the schedule.

  • Push ourselves and explore what's the next idea for a client/project (while being mindful of client brief).

  • Create opportunities for collaboration between designers.

  • Make time for everybody to get together to start on the right foot.

  • Be a go-to person for creative ideas and expertise throughout the agency.

  • Build confidence throughout the team to ensure everybody feels comfortable sharing, challenging and contributing, and celebrate these moments.

  • Be aware of group motivation, and energy levels.

  • Be open to everyone’s ideas and new ways of doing things.
